Lesson
#5 - Designating print areas
The possibility of pre-designating printable areas of
your website is an important improvement to web-printing
in general. There are several ways...
Creating
a box to mark the printable area:
Step
1: Select an empty frame in your timeline.
Step
2: Draw a filled shape in this frame - this shape
will be the printable area. Color doesn't matter.
Step
3: Click properties for this frame in the timeline.
Step
4: In the Label tab, label the frame "#b".

Note:
Only the first occurance of "#b" will be used.
Also, using "#b" only applies for the active
timeline, e.g. not loaded movies, nor subscenes.
Specifying
a print area consisting of several frames:
Step
1: Repeat Lesson #1 til step 4.
Step
2: Instead of typing "print:", type "print:#bmax".
This
will make all printable frames act as the printable
area. This is good for animations.
Creating
a print button that will scale the Flash objects to
largest possible print size:
Step
1: Repeat Lesson #1 til step 4.
Step
2: Instead of typing "print:", type "print:#bframe".
This
will scale objects on all printable frames to the largest
possible size on the printed page.
